(FRENCH LICK) - Indiana State Police are investigating the death of a two and a half month old French Lick child.
Preliminary investigation revealed that yesterday morning at approximately 8:36 AM the French Lick Fire Department and the French Lick City Police responded to a call received from Tiphanie Owens stating that her two and a half month old baby boy Keli was not breathing.
Keli was transported to the Bloomington Hospital of Orange County in Paoli where he was pronounced dead.
Indiana State Police First Sergeant Rob Priest said, "we are handling this as a death investigation at this time."
Priest also noted that, "an autopsy will take place tomorrow to determine the cause of death, but as of right now nothing appears to be suspicious."
