(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - Early this morning at a highway gas station, a dazed and confused man walked up to the gas station property covered in blood, leaving people at the station a little unsure.
According to police logs, Cory Turpen was rushed to Bedford Regional Medical Center for unknown injuries after he was reportedly beat up at an apartment complex.
Further investigation revealed that the man had stopped by his father-in-law's home in Huron yesterday evening at around 7:30 PM. He arrived at the residence with a friend to pick up his father-in-laws grandkids and, according to police, the two came into the house and started to make trouble.
During the reported incident, the father-in-law forcefully removed the two men from his residence after Turpen attempted to grab the father-in-law's neck.
Sometime after the incident, Turpen would end up at the gas station covered in blood.
