(UNDATED) - 181 new Indiana laws went into effect at midnight.
One of them puts certain restrictions on teenage drivers.
Children under 18 years of age are no longer allowed to talk on a cell phone or text while driving.
Teenagers with new probationary licensees will no longer be allowed to drive late at night and early in the morning, and will only be allowed to drive with immediate family.
The new law also says in the first six months of driving, you can't have passengers under the age of 25.
The new laws went into effect midnight.
There are currently no laws against adults talking on their cell phone while driving.
