(NASHVILLE, IN) - A Nashville deputy town marshal was the victim of a hit-and-run Friday afternoon.
Deputy Marshal Griggs was not injured during the incident and was seen walking around after reporting being hit by a maroon colored Chevrolet Lumina.
Griggs reported that he believed that the vehicle that struck him was being driven by an elderly female. Indiana State Police report that they are investigating a recent accident involving the same type of vehicle driven by an elderly female.
Police are looking for a maroon Chevrolet Alumina with damage possibly done to the passenger side mirror.
