(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - A wreck taking place last night (Sunday, July 13th) involved a Kokomo man heading west on Sieboldt Quarry Road approaching Harrodsburg Road.
When he came down to the stop where Harrodsburg Road tees with Sieboldt Quarry Road he went to push on his brakes to begin the process of slowing down, he discovered that his brakes were not working.
The vehicle crashed into the guide wire setup at the tee in the road, which brought his car to a halt, possibly saving his life. Police officials arrived at the scene shortly after they received a call.
The wreck happened at 11:23 PM last night.
