(VINCENNES) - On Friday troopers from the Evansville Post arrested a Vincennes man for dealing over 30 grams of marijuana.
Preliminary investigation reveals that troopers and officers from the Knox County Sheriff's Department and the Vincennes Police Department were following up on information that illegal drug activity was taking place at 1321 N 3rd Apt #11, Vincennes.
During the course of the investigation officers were able to establish enough probable cause for a search warrant to be issued.
At 2:20 AM Friday morning officers executed the search warrant and located approximately ½ pound of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect, Joshua P. McKay, 28, Vincennes was not at home at the time of the search.
At approximately 4:30 AM troopers located McKay in his vehicle.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Knox County Jail.
