(KNOB CREEK, IN) - The Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department is searching for any information on several arsons taking place in Knob Creek.
Steve Nolan, Fire Chief of Pleasant Run VFD, enacted the reward along with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police after Nolan met with the other officials to determine what actions would be necessary to take in a matter such as this.
Nolan informed WBIW that a $5,000 reward will be presented to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of whoever may be responsible for the recent fires.
In March, firefighters were called to an abandoned house in which one/third of the building was lost to the fire.
Earlier this August, crews were called once again to the same partially burnt down residence were the blaze finished off the rest of the building.
This past Saturday, Nolan and his crews were called for a third time to the location to fight three different fires.
An abandoned mobile home across the street from the original fire was in flames, as well as the previous residence's garage and patio deck.
Anyone with any information should contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at 812-275-3316 or at 1-800-382-4628 which can be left as a anonymous message.
