(FRENCH LICK, IN) - Several law enforcement agencies teamed together to discover dog fighting operation in French Lick.
Yesterday morning, officers from the Indiana State Police, Indiana Gaming Commission, Indiana Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officers, the US Marshal Service and the Orange County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant for Brian Denny and Eli Taylor.
After a lengthy preliminary investigation on a possible illegal dog fighting operation, the Orange County Circuit Court issued a search warrant for the property of Eli Taylor of French Lick.
Over the investigation period, investigators learned that Brian Denny had several fighting dogs on his property.
When officers arrived at Taylor's property, they were able to locate over 90 dogs, several dogs' remains and items commonly associated with dog fighting.
Larry Rollins, Director of the Indiana Gaming Commission stated that "the success of this investigation is a result of a lot of hard work and information sharing amongst agencies."
39-year-old Brian Denny was arrested by the Indiana Gaming Commission on a preliminary charge of possessing animals for the purpose of animal fighting.

All of the dogs rescued were examined by the Humane Society and by members of Purdue University Veterinary Science Department.
