(ORLEANS, IN) - Two area farmers markets have been voted top in the state of Indiana.
The Orange County Home Grown Farmers Market headquartered in Orleans is currently ranked as number 18 in a nation-wide search for the top farmers markets.
The "Love Your Farmers Market Contest" gives area anyone the power to vote for their favorite farmers market awarding the number one market with a $5,000 prize.
Bloomington Community Farmer's Market in Bloomington is currently ranked as number seven with over one thousand votes, making both the Orange County Home Grown Farmer's Market and the Bloomington Community Farmer's Market the top rated farmers markets in the state.
The Orange County Farmer's Market is only 17 votes away from reaching the number 17 spot.
Both farmers markets encourage area residents to cast their vote online.
