(MITCHELL, IN) - The City of Mitchell issued a city wide boil order yesterday; the boil order will be in effect until Friday at noon.
All water for cooking and drinking purposes should be boiled for five minutes for precautionary reasons according to the city. The boil order does not include water to be used for bathing, cleaning, or laundry.
The order is reportedly due to a water plant malfunction and is currently being addressed.
