(NASHVILLE, IN) - Two visitors to the Nashville Indiana area were seriously injured Monday afternoon following a motorcycle wreck.
According to the Brown County Sheriff's Department, 54-year-old Thomas Hale of Murrieta, California, was southbound on State Road 135 North when he reportedly lost control and flipped over his motorcycle, throwing both him and his wife, 54-year-old Carol Hale, from the 2009 Harley Davidson Fatboy they were riding.
Neither of the riders were wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Lifeline helicopters were called to transport Mr. and Mrs. Hale to an Indianapolis hospital.
Mrs. Hale suffered several broken bones and possible internal injuries, Mr. Hale suffered head injuries and possible internal injuries as he reportedly layed unconscious on the country highway when safety officials arrived on the scene.
