(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A rural Bloomfield resident was arrested this past Tuesday for growing marijuana.
When police arrived at the residence they discovered marijuana paraphernalia, a loaded sawed-off shotgun and over 11 marijuana plants both inside and outside the residence.
36-year-old Eric L. Carmichael was arrested at the scene and is accused of cultivating marijuana.
Carmichael was charged with three class D felonies; possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
He is being held in Greene County Jail with a $12,000 bond.
