(NASHVILLE, IN) - The second of two accused child molesters has been put behind bars.
41-year-old Timothy Hobbs and his father, 60-year-old Richard Hobbs were both charged with a class A felony count of child molesting following the repeated abuse to a 14-year-old Jackson County girl.
The two reportedly sexually abused the 14-year-old multiple times before a family member of the victim informed law enforcement of a possible abuse.
After further investigation, Master Trooper Detectives Roger Drew and Jan Graves determined that the sexual abuse was fact and then carried on with procedures to convict the two for the crime.
Richard Hobbs was sentenced May 11th for the January crime and will remain behind the bars of the Indiana Department of Correction for 25 years.
This past Tuesday Timothy Hobbs was sentenced through the Jackson County Circuit Court for 105 years in prison.
Richard Hobbs was found guilty July 8th, by a 12 person jury of 5 class A felony counts of child molesting, and had been awaiting sentencing since.
