(NORTH VERNON, IN) - Two Eastern Greene County residents were seriously injured in a car wreck Sunday evening.
15-year-old Jared Hash of Solsberry was listed in critical condition according to a Methodist Hospital spokeswoman after being airlifted to the hospital following the wreck.
Jared Hash was driving a pickup which ran off of the road at around 7:05PM Sunday near the Jennings-Jackson County line and struck a tree.
According to Jennings County Sheriff's Department, Hash lost control of the truck.
Both passengers in the truck were injured during the incident. 20-year-old Scotty D. Hash of Solsberry was also listed in serious condition on Monday at Methodist Hospital.
The second passenger, 42-year-old Scotty L. Hash, escaped the wreckage with minor injuries.
According to police the wreck occurred just east of the entrance to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge as the three hauled an ATV 4-wheeler which was thrown from the truck.
