(MIDLAND, IN) - A second person has been charged in the death of 14-month-old Travis Bohannon.
Tanya Salesman-McIntyre, the girlfriend of Travis' father Ronald Bohannon, was charged yesterday afternoon with two counts of false informing, one count of obstruction of justice, and one count of assisting a criminal.
Tanya McIntyre falsely informed police that the boy had been hit by a stray bullet when she dialed 911.
29-year-old Ronald Bohannon told police he was pushing his son in a stroller when his son was hit by a stray bullet.
The Sheriff's Department said Bohannon later admitted making up the story and that the gun discharged accidentally.

A handgun was discovered near the scene in which Travis was killed.
Ronald is facing the following six charges; reckless homicide, a class A felony; pointing a firearm, a class D felony; possession of a handgun without a permit, a class A misdemeanor; possession of a handgun with a prior felony conviction within 15 years, a class C felony; receiving stolen property, a class D felony; obstruction of justice, a class D felony and false informing, a class A misdemeanor.
Bond for Bohannon has been set at $34,000.
Travis Bohannon was killed this past Sunday. His parents are currently going through a divorce and Travis had been living with his mother in Terre Haute.
