(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has released nearly $3 million to the city of Martinsville to acquire 32 homes put at risk by annual flooding.
The money comes from FEMA's hazard mitigation grant program.
Under the plan, FEMA will pay 75% of the project costs, with the city covering the remainder.
