(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Two Bloomington residents were critically injured in a one-vehicle crash in Greene County Sunday afternoon.
31-year-old Jeremy S. Browning and 9-year-old McKenzie Browning were traveling east on State Road 54 when the 1993 Chevy S-10 truck veered off of the road striking a fence and eventually colliding head-on with a tree.
Police, medical and fire crews arrived at the scene shortly after the crash.
Both the driver and the passenger remained entrapped in the truck for about 25 minutes while fire crews worked to free the victims.
31-year-old Jeremy Browning was airlifted to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis to be treated for leg and internal injuries.
9-year-old McKenzie Browning was airlifted to Indianapolis to be treated for leg and face injuries.
