(COLUMBUS, IN) - Columbus residents would pay a flat $12 a month fee for trash pickup under a revised ordinance that scraps the idea of offering the public toters of different sizes.
During a meeting Tuesday, the city council put the plan into proper channels, which advances it to a final reading next month.
The plan, which includes leaf and yard refuse pickup, does not include a curbside recycling program, which had been a provision of the ordinance.
