(BEDFORD, IN) - Indiana State Police recently investigated and solved a burglary case and in doing so, discovered a marijuana growing operation.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police Bloomington Post, responded to the report of a burglary from Stone Crest Golf Course club house.
The golf course club house was reportedly broken into during the overnight hours from late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, several items, including a large amount of money were taken.
During the investigation, officers were able to develop a suspect.
Further investigation led to the execution of a search warrant of a home at 1415 18th Street in Bedford.
Once inside the residence, troopers discovered all of the items taken from the golf course burglary.
Troopers also uncovered an indoor marijuana growing operation consisting of several marijuana plants and other drug paraphernalia.
Five people were arrested in connection with the crimes including a 16-year-old male who was released to a family member pending a hearing in the juvenile court system.
Micah Flynn, 18, Bedford
Micah Flynn was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, trespassing, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and illegal possession of alcohol.
Beth Bonnet, 50, Bedford
Beth Bonnet was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and neglect of a dependent.
Jon Bonnet, 20, Bedford
Jon Bonnet was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Tyler Bonnet, 18, Bedford
Tyler Bonnet was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The 16-year-old male juvenile was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, trespassing, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Illegal possession of alcohol.
Master Trooper Jon Patrick, Senior Troopers Greg Day, Brian Beauchamp, Jason Cobb, Ryan Miller and Troopers Mike Robbins, Josh Allen and Shea Teague all assisted with the investigation.
