(SULLIVAN, IN) - The Greene County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in connection with a two vehicle crash that killed two people on October 2nd in western Greene County.
22-year-old Tra Ryan Hibbard of Sullivan, was taken into custody and booked in to the Greene County Jail following a week-long investigation by the Sheriff's Department into the crash.

72-year-old Victor E. Newton and his daughter 45-year-old Debra Newton also a passenger in Victor's minivan died in the car wreck caused by Tra Hibbard, who was driving his vehicle while intoxicated.
Hibbard has been charged with 11 felony counts including two counts of reckless homicide in connection with the deaths of Victor Newton and Debra Newton-Doyle.
The two sons of Debra Doyle, and grandchildren of Victor Newton, five-year-old Jacob Doyle and two-year-old Logan Doyle were among the five injured in the wreck including a 2-year-old.
A pretrial conference has been set for November 30th at 2:30PM; a trial date has not yet been set.
