(ORLEANS, IN) - An Orleans man was airlifted to a hospital in Louisville after his motorcycle collided with a car on State Road 337.
43-year-old Danny Bradley was traveling on a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle when his vehicle reportedly moved left of the center of the road colliding with a vehicle being driven by Andrew Johnson.
Tire marks on the roadway indicated that Bradley was at least four feet left of center.
Another driver on the road informed police that Bradley passed their vehicle at a high rate of speed.
Bradley was flown to a Louisville hospital to be treated for injuries to his legs.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to Bloomington Hospital of Orange County to be treated for injuries sustained by broken glass to his face and arm.
Following the impact Bradley slid 171 feet west of the roadway; his motorcycle continued 110 feet past the point where Bradley came to a stop.
Both drivers had blood drawn at the scene to see if drugs or alcohol were present in their systems at the time of the collision.
