(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for parts of Indiana.
The areas in the state that will most likely be affected include Indianapolis and points south.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Joseph Nield says the flood watch is in effect from Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon. Between two to four inches of rain could fall.
Some areas may actually get five inches of rain, depending on the track of the storm.
The heavy rain could cause flooding in low lying areas, near rivers, creeks and streams.
Flash flooding is also possible.
