(HENDRICKSVILLE, IN) - An Ohio woman traveling on a bike just south of Hendricksville and north of Greene County Road 1210 East was injured in a collision with an SUV Saturday.
43-year-old Karen Bayne of Fremont, Ohio remained in the hospital Wednesday evening after sustaining injuries to her head and face when her bike crashed into the back of a sport utility vehicle.
Bayne was listed in fair condition at the Bloomington hospital Wednesday.
The collision happened when three to four other cyclists failed to slow near the moving SUV and attempted to pass the driver's side of the vehicle.
The driver of the SUV applied her brakes to avoid hitting the cyclists causing Karen Bayne to collide with the back-end of the car.
