(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - Indiana State Police Troopers along with Greene County Sheriff Deputies were able to solve a burglary case that involved the home of a deceased Bloomfield man.
On Tuesday, November 17th, Trooper Eric Russell was called to the home of the late James Christenberry of Bloomfield to investigate a burglary complaint.
While working with the Greene County Sheriff's Department, Trooper Russell obtained information that earlier that same day, deputies had responded to the residence located next door to the Christenberry residence, regarding a fight.
Authorities arrested two people the residence at that time.
During the book-in process at the Greene County Jail, both that were arrested were found to be carrying stolen property of James Christenberry.
A search warrant was eventually obtained for the residence next door to Christenberry's house, where the first two were arrested and further investigation revealed a third person was also involved in the burglary.
22-year-old Michaell L. Lane, 20 year-old Megan L. Lane and 45-year-old Wayne L. Goldsby Jr. were all charged with felony counts of burglary and theft; Michael Lane has also been charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.
