(UNDATED) - Holiday bargain hunters packed stores on Black Friday looking for deals on all kinds of items.
Many people were waiting for the doors at 4:00AM. It's the official start of the holiday shopping season.
Retailers are hoping for strong sales, despite the weak economy.
It was an early Black Friday at Edinburgh Premium Outlets.
25 of 79 stores opened at 10:00PM Thursday.
Reports say many holiday shoppers showed up to purchase items discounted as much as 50%.
At several Indianapolis Toys R Us stores, fights erupted over getting one of the hottest toys this year, the battery operated Zhu Zhu.
