(SEYMOUR, IN) - State Health Officials confirm Norovirus is the reason behind a recent outbreak of stomach flu that closed the Seymour Middle School Sixth Grade Center on November 6th.
They now suspect the same illness has spread to Margaret R. Brown Elementary School.
Many students were absent or sent home from the school Friday with similar symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea.
The origin of the virus is unknown.
