(BEDFORD, IN) - Indiana State Police were informed of a possible shooting in Lawrence County over the weekend.
According to police, Danny Knight was walking through the woods on his property when shots were reportedly fired at him but he wasn't hit.
The man stated the he got down on the ground, shined his flash light and yelled to make his presence to known to possible hunters in the area and then heard someone shout at him that "if he wasn't running already, he'd better start."
The incident happened on Graded Road on Saturday at around 6:30PM.
Trooper Teague with the Indiana State Police reports that none of the neighbors in the area reported hearing a gunshot and police were unable to find anyone suspicious in the area.
The case is currently an ongoing investigation.
