(VINCENNES, IN) - No one was injured when a garage holding a propane delivery truck caught fire and exploded in Vincennes Wednesday night.
The Evansville Courier and Press reports firefighters arrived at 9:30PM to find the garage engulfed in flames at Nu-Gas Propane Company on South Old US 41 in Vincennes.
They learned one of the trucks inside was still loaded with 2,300 gallons of propane.
Crews were able to pull back, close nearby streets and evacuate buildings in the area before the explosion occurred nearly three hours later.
The State Fire Marshall may be called in to investigate the cause.
