(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The attorney of the primary suspect in a reported sexual assault in Bloomington has contacted Indiana University police.
According to Indiana University police Captain Jerry Minger, detectives hope to schedule a meeting with the attorney and the suspect at the beginning of next week.
Police recieved a report of the sexual assault following following the IU vs. Purdue football game with the 20-year-old victim stating she was with friends and family in the Red Lot for the IU vs. Purdue game when she became separated from her group and went searching for them at a house party.
The woman says she was later dragged into the basement of the house where the sexual assault occurred by the suspect.
