(BARTLETTSVILLE, IN) - Pleasant Run Fire crews were called to the scene of an arson house fire early this morning at around 3:00AM.
Several unoccupied houses in the Bartlettsville area have been set on fire over the past few months leaving local and state authorities searching for the one responsible for the destruction of the house fires.
According to Lawrence County Police Dispatch Log, as fire crews arrived at the scene of the house fire, a black Chevy long bed truck with chrome wheels was spotted leaving the scene and could have possibly been involved with the arson.
Fire officials informed Bedford Police Department to be on the lookout for the truck as it headed towards State Road 58.
None of this information has been officially confirmed however, this information comes from the Lawrence County Police Dispatch Log.
Authorities say that more information will soon be made available.
A $5,000 dollar reward was put into place a couple of months ago following the first arson fires; the money will be given to anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest in the arson case.
