(OOLITIC, IN) - Two teenagers were arrested for dealing drugs near an Oolitic school on Saturday.
According to Oolitic Police Department, police officials were were informed of two juvenile females being treated at local hospitals for possible drug overdoses on Saturday, November 28th at around 3:00PM.
Following an investigation conducted by Police Deputy Bill Allen, 18-year-old Aaron C. Thompson of Bloomington was arrested for dealing a schedule 3 controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school, a class A felony and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class A misdemeanor.
Later during the same investigation, Deputy Allen arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Oolitic for dealing a schedule 3 controlled substance within 100 feet of a school and maintaing a common nuisance.
The juvenile was taken to the Jackson County Detention Center; Aaron Thompson was booked into Lawrence County Jail. Police Marshal Jon Jeffries says that further arrests are pending in the case.
