(UNDATED) - Some Hoosiers are speeding to their local dealerships in time to qualify for a new car tax credit set to expire this week.
As part of the stimulus package, consumers have until Thursday to complete a purchase of a brand new vehicle and have the sales tax qualify as tax deductible.
The credit applies to new vehicle purchases between February 17th and the end of the year.
You can log onto IRS.GOV to view a complete list of qualifications for the tax credit.
