(LINTON, IN) - All electricity was out for the Northwest side of Linton in Greene County Sunday morning.
Officials at the Linton Electric Department say that the outage, which lasted for three-and-a-half hours, was caused by a problem at the city's Fifth Street substation.
Department Supervisor Nick House explained that the whole substation had to be shut down due to a bypass blade which shorted out.
He says the problem basically occurred because of a breakdown in parts, but that the substation is fixed at this time.
