(BEDFORD, IN) - A 36-year-old Bedford man was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison for the robbery of O’Brien’s Liquor Store on February 23rd.
Antwan Henry was charged with armed robbery, which was reduced to robbery and being a habitual offender in a plea agreement made with Lawrence County Prosecutor Michelle Woodward.
Henry, the father of a 9-month-old child, blamed drug addiction as the reasoning behind robbing the liquor store.
Specified in the Lawrence County sentence, Henry could possibly be released from prison in about seven years and will then have to serve the remainder of a sentence in Hamilton County for a previous crime in which he was on probation for.
