(UNDATED) - The snow machines are being used to good effect at the ski resorts in southern Indiana.
Falling temperatures and an early snow allowed Paoli Peaks and Perfect North slopes to open early on December 12th.
Recession might actually help increase attendance.
The early turnout has been spotty, but the resorts are hoping skiers who may be cutting back in other areas will still take their families skiing.
