(UNDATED) - Today marks the busiest day of the year for the United States Postal Service.
The SUPS will move more than $830 million pieces of mail. That's 40% more than postal workers see most other days.
While 97 million customers will visit a post office branch this season, 41 million will ship online.
Postal workers will move express mail on Christmas day, but the recommended mail-by date deadlines are December 21st for first class and priority mail and December 23rd for express mail.
