(UNDATED) - The United Christmas Service Program is looking for volunteers to spread holiday cheer to Hoosier families in need.
The United Way of Central Indiana reports requests for assistance are up about 25% this year.
Volunteer Center Director Alan Witchey says 567 families still need to be matched with other families willing to adopt them to provide Christmas.
$300,000 is still needed for those who qualify for vouchers to buy food, clothing and toys.
