(SEYMOUR, IN) - More than 200 people attended a tea party protest at Seymour High School over the weekend.
Members of the Jackson County chapter of We The People staged their first local protest Saturday afternoon to publicly display their disapproval of President Barack Obama's proposed health care reform plan.
Many protesters spoke out against Indiana 9th District Representative Baron Hill, D-Seymour, for supporting the health care bill.
Former Seymour city councilman Bob Beatty spoke at the gathering, urging people to write letters elected officials, and to vote.
