(MITCHELL, IN) - Three Bedford residents were arrested Wednesday evening in Mitchell when officers located drugs, firearms and a stolen vehicle at a Mitchell residence.
According to Mitchell Police Department Chief Jerry Presnell, officers arrived at 315 East Frank Street to serve an arrest warrant to Sarah Brazzel for her failure to appear in court for driving while suspended.
While at the residence officers noticed an aroma of burned marijuana and observed what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette.
After obtaining a search warrant, authorities returned to the home with the department's K-9 Tank.
4.2 grams of methamphetamine and the keys to a vehicle reported stolen from Nineveh, Indiana were discovered with the vehicle sitting outside.
Police later found several firearms, two of which were reported stolen from an earlier burglary.
22-year-old Sarah Brazzel, 34-year-old Chad Frazier and 27-year-old Jonathan Martin were taken into police custody.
So far, the three have been charged with possession of methamphetamine over 3 grams, possession of marijuana under 30 grams, possession of paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance and maintaining a common nuisance.
Presnell says that more charges are expected to follow as the investigation continues.
