(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - IU Professor Dawn Johnson has been renominated by the Obama Administration to head the U.S. Office of Legal Counsel.
Johnsen was first nominated back in January 2009, but the full US Senate never voted on the matter before recessing last month.
That meant her name had to be sent back to the White House.
Because the president has renominated her, the process starts anew.
Before she can take the post, Johnsen has to, once again, clear the Senate Judiciary Committee.
