(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A Bloomfield man was arrested last weekend for collecting marijuana along along the White River in Worthington.
48-year-old Donald K. Thatcher was arrested for possession of marijuana at a Greene County boat ramp. Indiana Conservation Officers Mike Gregg and Greg Swanson discovered about 1-1/2 pounds of cultivated, unprocessed marijuana on the man.
A duffel bag filled with marijuana leaves which appeared to have been recently picked from the stalk, was discovered on the boat.
Police later discovered a set of boot prints going up and over the river bank near three marijuana stalks.
Thatcher was booked into the Greene County jail, where he posted $800 bail.
The man's court date is scheduled for January 22nd.
