(NORTH VERNON, IN) - Four Jennings County men are facing charges following an investigation into a possible marijuana ring.
22-year-old David Kerner and 20-year-old Bryon Taylor were arrested at a home on New Street in North Vernon.
Police confiscated four pounds of marijuana and $3,400 dollars cash along with scales and other paraphernalia.
According to police, the two are facing charges related to the sale and possession of marijuana. In a related case, Michael J. Sproles of Beech Road in North Vernon was arrested at a housing development.
18-year-old Justin Jarrell of North Vernon was also arrested late Tuesday after police discovered a methamphetamine lab in his vehicle.
Officers approached the vehicle after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle.
A passenger fled the vehicle and fled on foot as police moved in. Jarrell, who was driving, was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
No information about the passenger was available Wednesday.
Jarrell faces several drug-related charges.
