(BEDFORD, IN) - A criminal investigation was conducted at Bedford North Lawrence High School. According to police officials, authorities found a small amount of marijuana at BNL Friday.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig describes the amount as a user amount although considerably less than 30 grams, which could then become a felony.
A school employee reportedly smelled the aroma of burned marijuana; a police dog was later brought to the school to investigate.
Gary Conner, Assistant Superintendent of the North Lawrence schools says that three young people were involved, and the school is now taking disciplinary action.
