(MEDORA, IN) - A Jackson County modular home was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.
According to police officials, fire crews arrived at the scene and discovered the house fully engulfed.
Owen and Carr volunteer fire departments fought the fire.
The fire, which totaled the home, caused an estimated $60,000 worth of damage.
The homeowner, 37-year-old Sabah Kashkoul escaped the fire without injuries.
Kashkoul was treated at the scene by paramedics with the Jackson County Ambulance Service; the man was then taken to Schneck Medical Center for further examination.
