(LINTON, IN) - Two Linton men were arrested Wednesday night when officers executed a search warrant and discovered controlled substances, marijuana, LSD and heroin, all packaged to be sold.
24-year-old Derrick Christopher Harper and 23-year-old Kyle Ray Barton were booked into the Greene County Jail following the discovery.
When officers entered the residence, Harper scurried to destroy the evidence.
Heroin that had been individually packaged for sale, sheets of LSD, marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, Xanax pills, packaging material, digital scales and other paraphernalia were discovered inside the residence.

Harper has been charged with dealing a narcotic within 1,000 feet of a youth program center, a class A felony; dealing a Schedule I controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a youth program center, a class A felony; dealing marijuana, a class A misdemeanor; maintaining a common nuisance, a class D felony; possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a youth program center, a class C felony; and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a youth program center, a class C felony.

Barton has been charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a class D felony and possession of paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.
