(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Bloomington Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened on State Road 58, just east of the Crane naval base.
Police say 54-year-old Morris Craig was driving when he crossed the center line and drove into the path of a jeep driven by 30-year-old Eric Smith.
The two vehicles collided head on and Craig's vehicle continued down an embankment, striking trees at the bottom.
Craig died in the accident. Smith and his passengers, 21-year-old Miranda Smith and their 3-month-old daughter were taken to Bloomington hospital.
Miranda Smith was later transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital for her injuries.
Police say everyone was wearing their seat-belts at the time of the crash.
