(NORTH VERNON, IN) - A North Vernon teenager was taken into police custody Monday following reports of a stabbing on North Elm Street.
Authorities with the North Vernon Police Department say that upon arrival at the residence, family members directed officers to 17-year-old Sabrina Miller.
Further investigation into the case finds that a family dispute erupted causing Miller to grab a knife and cut three of her family members.
A 92-year-old woman was taken to an Indianapolis hospital due to a hand injury; other family members were treated at the scene.
Miller is being held in the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center.
