(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A trial date has been set for 22-year-old Tra Hibbard in connection with a vehicle crash on October 2nd in Greene County that killed two and seriously injured four others.
The Sullivan man has been charged with a long list of crimes, including 16 felonies and one misdemeanor.
Hibbard, who was intoxicated at the time of the wreck, did not stop at an intersection causing him to strike a van knocking it off the roadway.
72-year-old Victor Newton of Linton and his daughter, 45-year-old Debra Newton-Doyle were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Newton's wife, 71-year-old Violet E. Newton, also a passenger in the van, was seriously injured along with two sons of Debra Doyle.
Hibbard and his sister, who was a passenger in the truck were also injured.
Hibbard has been incarcerated in the Greene County Jail since the wreck.
His trial date is scheduled to start at 9:00AM on July 13th.
