(LINTON, IN) - Two years after the death of a 6-year-old Greene County boy who was killed in a vehicle-train collision, his parents have now filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Greene Superior Court.
Erica Harmon and Seath Stevenson have filed the suit against railroad engineer Jessie Kaufman, of Shelburn; the Indiana Railroad Company; the Greene County Board of Commissioners; the Greene County Council and Fernando Perez, the young boy's natural father.
No court date has been set in the case.
Christopher Logan Stevenson died February 21st at Riley Children's Hospital.

The kindergarten student was in the backseat of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 25-year-old Seath Stevenson when it collided with an Indiana Railroad Company locomotives at a railroad crossing.
Officials say that the crossing was marked by railroad crossing signs and two stop signs, but was not equipped with any kind of electronic flashing lights, bells or crossing arms.
