Current Road Conditions

(UNDATED) - Another round of snow is falling across Indiana.

All 65 INDOT plows are out in Indianapolis and more plows throughout the state.

Plow drivers are plowing, putting down chemicals and will stay out around the clock until the storm passes.

In the meantime, many southern Indiana State Police posts have released road conditions within their districts.

ISP Bloomington District
As snow continues to fall over the Bloomington District (Monroe, Owen, Lawrence, Greene and Brown Counties), current road conditions are as follows:
1.).........SR 37 is still snow covered and slick. We are still receiving reports of vehicle slide offs, north and south of Bloomington, for vehicles traveling too fast for current road conditions.
2.).........U.S. highways (231 & 50) are snow covered and slick.
3.).........Secondary roads (county roads) are completely snow covered / white out conditions in spots and extremely slick.

ISP Jasper District
The Jasper District is still receiving moderate to heavy snowfall. The winds are starting to pick-up making the already bad conditions worse. Current road conditions within the Jasper District of the Indiana State Police, which includes Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, Perry and Spencer Counties, are as follows:
1.).........I-64 snow covered/slick and hazardous.
2.).........Troopers are working several slide-offs and property damage crashes along I-64.
3.).........State and U.S. highways are snow covered/slick and hazardous.
4.).........Secondary roads (county roads) are snow covered/slick and hazardous

ISP Seymour District
Current road conditions within the Seymour District of the Indiana State Police, which includes Bartholomew, Jackson and Jennings Counties, are as follows:
1.).........I-65 snow covered and slick. We are consistently receiving reports of vehicle slide offs, from the 80 mm to the 35 mile marker, for vehicles traveling too fast for current road conditions.
2.).........State and U.S. highways are snow covered and slick.
3.).........Secondary roads (county roads) are snow covered slick.
